Hi, I'm Julia!

I am a mindfulness coach and 500-hour registered yoga instructor, with experience teaching and coaching groups and individuals. My background includes trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness, breathwork, and nervous system regulation practices. These aspects work together to bring my holistic and empowering approach to working with clients. I am fueled by my passion for living yoga "off the mat", mindful self-study, and joyful movement. I am currently studying to become a certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and certified Enneagram coach.

I truly believe that yoga provides tools for living a fulfilling and mindful life. As a busy mom of three, I have experienced the holistic benefits and grounding daily routines of the yogic lifestyle. I am passionate about empowering you to embrace your joy through your own mindful practice. I am currently studying to become a certified yoga therapist through My Vinyasa Practice. I am studying to become a certified Enneagram coach through Enneagram University, and a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. I have continuing education in Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga (the Embody Lab), Yoga Nidra (My Vinyasa Practice), Yin Yoga (My Vinyasa Practice), Restorative Yoga (My Vinyasa Practice) and Adaptive Yoga (My Vinyasa Practice).
Mindfulness coaching is designed to help you learn to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. It is a tool to guide you in identifying self-limiting patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back from your goals and desires. Mindfulness coaching teaches you through the yogic tool of self-study (Svadhyaya), and develop daily routines that align with your values and help you live authentically. Over the course of several sessions, I will work with you to determine your desires and goals and identify self-limiting beliefs that may be hindering you from realizing those desires and goals. We will use journaling, meditation, and breathwork to help you apply self-compassion and work towards responding mindfully to activating situations.
